Welcome! I love teaching middle schoolers, and I love sharing my passion for reading!
I am a proud Trinity Graduate!
After Graduating from Trinity and Cumberland Perry Area Vocational Technical School (Now CPACTC) in 2004, I worked in various daycares and preschools while attending Kutztown University. I graduated in 2008.
My first teaching assignment was in the WSSD at Crossroads Middle School teaching 7th grade Language Arts. I then taught the same class at Allen Middle School before accepting a permanent teaching position for 7th and 8th grade Language Arts at St. Catherine Laboure School in Harrisburg. I taught there for 7 years, and I also ran the Student Council, headed the Mini-THON fundraiser, and was the costume designer for the spring musicals.
Here at SPS, I help moderate the Student Lighthouse Team and I also co-direct the Spring Musical.
I always dreamed of teaching 2nd grade, but I really LOVE teaching middle school! *Some random things about me:
